The summer heat here in the south has taken another life I'm saddened to report. Yep, my wet cell battery just couldn't handle the heat.
After much research about Odyssey batteries, AGM, conventional wet cell and Shorai Lithium Iron; I've decided to go withe the guy in the middle the AGM.
Ultimately it was about function and price for me. The AGM is a maintenance free battery and sealed. At a cost of 78.00 from Batteries+. The lithium iron are really light weight, but extremely expensive. The odyssey was really heavy and needed the battery cables re routed and turned on its side to work; and it to was extremely expensive.
Conventional or stock battery always need some tlc now and again when in hot weather and it's temperamental to vibrations (we don't have those in the klr) so that was out.
So since the AGM battery was a direct fit it made my job easier.
